Join us as we welcome Jo Klein and Joddy Marchesoni, data and visualization librarians from the NC State Libraries, to discuss data visualization.
Jo Klein is a data and visualization librarian at NC State. He has been in this role for over two years. Jo earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He got his Master of Library and Information Science from UNC Greensboro. Klein is working on a project called “Behind the Scenes: The Metadata of Data Visualization” for the VTF Symposia.
Joddy Marchesoni is a data and visualization librarian at NC State. They have been in this position for over two years. Joddy received their bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UNC Asheville in 2012. Afterward, they worked as an applications engineer. Later, they got their master’s in mathematics, applied statistics, and statistics from UNC Greensboro. Marchesoni knows various coding languages like C++, Linux, and Java, which help them understand data visualization.
