Join us as we welcome Christopher Rock, associate research professor and Manager of Outreach and Customer Support (CAMAL) at NC State University, to the MEM Program’s Think and Lead Seminar Series as he discusses how to seek and develop professional relationships.
The professional relationships we establish throughout our working lives can help make or break our careers. These professional relationships become some of the greatest assets or obstacles associated with career growth. Often professional relationships enable employment opportunities, new collaborations, mentorship and new career directions. In this seminar, we will discuss how to make new professional relationships and strengthen them over time.
Dr. Rock was a process and R&D metallurgist in industry for 18 years before joining the Center for Additive Manufacturing and Logistics at NCSU in 2016. He has experience in process & physical metallurgy, project management, modeling and additive manufacturing.
