Rob Drew

Rob Drew is a seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience in IT services, product management, and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Information Technology Services at Red Hat, Drew has been instrumental in shaping IT strategy and operations since joining the company in 2017.

Before Red Hat, Drew spent nearly a decade at Railinc, where he managed the Interline product line, leading the development of SaaS and B2B software solutions in an agile environment. Notably, he incubated the Chicago Gateway ClearPath program and launched AskRail, Railinc’s first mobile app, which has been adopted by thousands of first responders to improve rail emergency response.

Earlier in his career, Drew held roles as a Senior Engineer at Progress Energy and an Operations Research Analyst at Nortel Networks. His expertise in software development, operations research, and engineering solutions laid a strong foundation for his career. He also worked as an independent consultant, further refining his technical and leadership skills.

A proud alumnus of North Carolina State University, Drew earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. As a member of Theta Tau, he built a strong professional network that continues to influence his career.
