Kritika Dhingra

I worked in multiple industries such as insurance, entertainment/social media and consumer goods which saw me taking up various roles ranging from software development to IT audits (SOX Compliance). My experiences have also helped me realize the importance of data analytics in every step of running a successful business. In my last position at Ernst & Young, I worked on IT SOX Compliance as a senior consultant; I worked on making sure the organization’s information technology infrastructure, applications, data use and management, policies, procedures and operational processes were compliant with the recognized standards and established policies. I was constantly applying data analytics concepts, hypothesis testing and visualizations to justify my hypothesis and get to conclusions. It was imperative for me to grow my data acumen and take steps toward educating myself with the latest tools and techniques being used in data analytics and engineering management.

I aspire to utilize my six years of professional work experience along with the skills I hope to gain at NC State to act as a liaison and bridge the gap between business requirements and the use of technology to achieve those requirements.
