Giving Back

The generosity of our alumni and friends drives our innovation in education.

Many Ways of Giving Back

There are many ways to give back to the MEM program. Besides financial donations, you can connect with MEM students through class presentations, panels and lectures. You can also offer co-op and internship opportunities and even recruit our students to your organization.

All contributions to the MEM Program help students and faculty achieve their dreams and improve their lives. Your gift can fund scholarships, fellowships, professorships, academic programs, and faculty research. These important initiatives usually aren’t covered by state funding. Giving empowers MEM to reach its teaching and public service goals.

MEM Enhancement Fund

The MEM Enhancement Fund is one of the program’s biggest needs. This fund offers flexible support, allowing us to handle changing resources each year. Unexpected opportunities often arise, and discretionary funds help the MEM Program Director act quickly. These funds have created valuable experiences for MEM students.

In recent years, these funds have made a real difference by supporting:

  • Industry visits and career-focused events
  • Case competitions and hands-on experiences
  • Student recognition and awards
  • New courses and programs
  • And so much more

Your generosity impacts students’ lives directly and helps the program prepare them for future engineering challenges. A gift of $1,000 or more to the MEM Enhancement Fund puts you in the Dean’s Circle, which recognizes unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more to the College of Engineering.

Invest in the Future
To stay a top graduate program, we must promote innovation and connect with industry. This will ensure students excel in the global workforce.
