Bio

Rob Drew is a seasoned technology leader with more than 20 years of experience in IT services, product management, and engineering. He is currently a Senior Manager of Information Technology Services at Red Hat. Since joining the company in 2017, he has helped shape IT strategy and operations.

Before Red Hat, Drew spent nearly ten years at Railinc. There, he led the Interline product line and developed SaaS and B2B software in an agile setting. He also incubated the Chicago Gateway ClearPath program. One of his key achievements was launching AskRail, Railinc’s first mobile app, which helps thousands of first responders improve rail emergency response.

Earlier in his career, Drew worked at Progress Energy as a Senior Engineer. He also served as an Operations Research Analyst at Nortel Networks. His early work in software development, operations research, and engineering helped build a solid career foundation. He later worked as an independent consultant, sharpening both technical and leadership abilities.

Drew holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University. As a member of Theta Tau, he built a strong network that still supports his professional growth.

He is passionate about using technology to create impactful solutions. He also focuses on leading strong teams and driving innovation in enterprise IT services.
