Bio

Nishant Naik is a Master’s in Engineering Management (MEM) student who combines Mechanical Engineering and IT with strong leadership skills. Because he values both technical and managerial growth, he chose the MEM program to connect engineering depth with management strategy. As a result, he is preparing to drive innovation and create meaningful organizational impact.

Additionally, Naik showed leadership by founding the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS) NC State Chapter. Through this chapter, he built a platform that helps students blend technical knowledge with management principles while developing professional skills.

Recently, during his Facilities Planning internship at Micron Technology, Naik applied this approach. He guided decisions using CAPEX data analysis and visualization. Earlier internships in manufacturing strengthened his abilities in process optimization and problem-solving. Now, he aims to lead transformation in engineering-driven industries.

Outside of work, Naik stays active and curious. For example, he enjoys riding motorbikes, playing soccer, gaming, and traveling to explore new cultures and perspectives.
