Bio

Madeleine Hetzel is from North Carolina and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, and Design Education at NC State. After completing the Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s (ABM) program, she is now fully enrolled in the Master of Engineering Management program.

Professionally, Madeleine works as a substation designer at Kiewit, where she focuses on engineering design, coordination, and problem-solving on large infrastructure projects. Her interests include project management, leadership, and the intersection of technical work and business decision-making.

Outside of academics and work, Madeleine enjoys creative design, exploring new places, and staying active. She is excited to serve as an MEM Ambassador this semester and looks forward to connecting with prospective and current students. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
