Bio

Ishan is a master’s student in engineering management at NC State. She approaches her work as a creative challenge and views the world as a system of connections. Because of this mindset, she enjoys finding ways to make things work better.

With a background in electronics engineering, she has sharpened her skills as a systems thinker. Moreover, she explored this passion as a systems engineer at Siemens Mobility GmbH and as a technical program management intern at Rivian and VW Group Technology. Through these experiences, she learned how to connect ideas, people and processes to solve complex problems.

In addition, her commitment to collaboration extends to her leadership on campus. She founded and now serves as president of NC State’s PM Student Club. Furthermore, she aims to grow into a leadership role where she can deepen her program management and technical skills. Ultimately, she hopes to lead high-impact programs that drive innovation and sustainability.

Outside her professional work, Ishan enjoys exploring new places through photography. At other times, she finds a rhythm on her guitar or relaxes with a good anime. Above all, she is excited to learn alongside others who are driven to build, grow and make a difference.
