Jeffery Stonebraker joined North Carolina State University in 2009 as an assistant professor in the Poole College of Management. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering form the University of South Florida in 1983. Stonebraker then received his M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University in 1988, and his Ph.D. in Management Science from Arizona State University in 1993.
