Ed Addison joined NC State in 2011 as an adjunct professor. He has taught courses in entrepreneurship, product management, managerial Finance, electrical and biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence and computer science.

Interests

Ed Addison’s interests are in AI and bioinformatics. His business strength is in biotech, healthcare and IT. Ed Addison has started 5 companies, funded 4 and exited 3. Was twice named “Entrepreneur of the Year” and made a Fast-500 list. Advised 7 venture capital funds, 20+ ventures and several large companies. Is a frequent public speaker on AI in healthcare, and on entrepreneurship.
