There are many examples of timelines you can take in order to complete your degree. You may start in any semester as long as you complete 10 courses and obtain 30 credit hours. Classes include core and elective courses as well as a practicum course. The practicum class is the last course you will take before receiving your degree.
12-Month Plan
The 12-month plan is the shortest of all the full-time plans. Four courses are taken in the fall, four courses are taken in the spring, and two courses are taken in the summer.
17-Month Plans
The 17-month plans help to spread out your workload a little more. You begin by taking three courses in the fall. Then, you take three courses in the spring, two courses in the summer, and two courses the following fall semester.
The second option frees up your summer by moving those two courses to the following fall.
22-Month Plan
The 22-month plan is the longest of all the full-time plans but frees up your summer and further balances your workload. Three courses are taken in the fall, and three courses are taken in the spring. You continue taking three courses the following fall and one course during the spring.
24-Month Plans
The 24-month plans are the shortest of the part-time plans. Two courses are taken in the fall, two courses are taken in the spring, and one course is taken in the summer. The following year, that same procedure is followed.
The second option moves one course from your beginning semester to your final summer semester.
41-Month Plan
The 41-month plan is perfect if you are only able to take one course per semester.
